Ellen Schutt
Ellen Schutt is Managing Director of the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED), where she has spent over 13 years advancing the organization’s mission to promote omega-3 consumption and improve access to high-quality EPA and DHA through science-based information.
With more than 25 years of experience in the natural products industry, her expertise spans industry communications, consumer education, and market development. Before becoming Managing Director, she led GOED’s communications strategy and played a key role in launching a major consumer education campaign. She previously served as Editor of Nutraceuticals World magazine and founded Schutt Solutions, a consultancy supporting growth in the dietary supplement industry.
Adam Ismail
Adam Ismail is Chief Commercial Officer of KD Pharma Group, the world’s largest omega-3 manufacturer, with operations across seven countries. With over 25 years of experience in the omega-3 industry, he previously served as the founding Executive Director of the Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED), leading the organization for 11 years.
His expertise spans the entire omega-3 value chain, from fisheries and raw material markets to manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical applications. At KD Pharma, he leads commercial strategy, strategic partnerships, and market development, bringing extensive insight into global omega-3 supply, demand, and pricing dynamics.
Simo Echchafai
Simo joined Aker BioMarine in 2019, he is a krill enthusiast and currently heading the US sales and marketing operations. Before that Simo was head of marketing and growth for the human health and nutrition business in Aker BioMarine.
Simo holds an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo and has over 20 year’s experience in FMCG, health and beauty industry across multiple markets including EMEA, India and the Pacific.
